Young at Art installed 6000 gates on the Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach Greenbelt on the weekend of June 1 to June 3.

The kids made the gates and then each class had a mini-installation on the grass outside their classrooms.

The 6000 gates were made by kids at Pennekamp, Meadows, Pacific, Robinson, Grandview, MBMS, Hermosa View, Hermosa Valley, American Martyrs, Our Lady of Guadalupe and Coast Christian Schools.  It took kid power to make that many gates! 

All those gates looked cool!  The joggers and dogwalkers liked them, too.
