2nd Pennekamp Robotics
Invitational - December 11, 2004

For the second year, Pennekamp's For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology
(F.I.R.S.T.) LEGO teams held an invitational to share the fun of building and
programming LEGO robots with Roosevelt Elementary school in Lawndale.
Coached by Tanya Manabat, Roosevelt's four teams joined four Pennekamp
teams coached by Technology Specialist Gail Hayes in this year's challenge, "No Limits". Students had to
build and program a LEGO robot
to put a CD away, play ball, climb stairs, feed pets, open a gate,
read bus route signs, push in chairs, serve dinner and remove
glasses.
