Dawn Farmer, MBUSD Elementary instrumental music teacher lead the Pennekamp 4th and 5th grade bands through several selections.

Ms. Irma Espinoza, Manhattan Beach Branch Manager for Commercial Capital Bank presented the Pennekamp PTA with a check for over $700.  Commercial Capital donates an amount to Pennekamp for each account that designates Pennekamp as its fundraising recipient.

Ms. Amy Howorth, member of the MBUSD Board of Trustees presented information on the Capitol Convoy advocacy trip in March.  She emphasized how critical it is to contact the governor and all local representatives to emphasize how important you feel funding for education is at this time of tight budgets.

Mr. Bill Cooper, MBUSD Board of Trustees representative to Pennekamp spoke about the 2005-2006 budget work being done.

The 2005-2006 PTA Executive Board was elected.  Thank you to everyone who has agreed to serve.
